Some people take the Devil seriously.

Some television show did a skit where a man dressed up in a silly "devil" outfit and then went around the streets telling people that he was getting a bad rap and that he isn't as bad as people think he is. Along the way he runs one Christian who takes the issue very seriously. And while the results have a certain degree of humor (and risk) they a side of some Christians that is very ugly indeed.
