Hm, ok, fundies ARE nutcases but I don't think all of them go all the way like the nuts from Westboro Baptist Church have done. As far as I know they have less than 200 members?

It is more humor than serious. But, while they don't go all the way as far as Westboro they do become very rigid, authoritarian, and usually hateful, people. It is part of their territory.

Yeah, I have seen how far they go. It's an ugly experience. Seeing a hateful person who believes that they are spreading "God's love" (whatever that may be, I have never been able to figure that out) certainly opens your eyes to how deluded people can be. I see the humorous take though :-) Westboro have certainly taken things to the extreme.

I think this is the basic line along which people enter into a sect, in varying intensities of course.
The WBC is too insane to be true... It's really religulous.

It's not just the WBC that are crazy. Many 'born again' christians are zealously praying for the death of left wingers on a daily basis.
